For major financial or medical decisions, always verify with a qualified professional.

Do you store my data?

No. All calculations run entirely client-side in your browser — your inputs are never sent to any server. There is no server-side storage, no user accounts, and no tracking of what you calculate. The only data stored locally is your theme preference (light or dark mode) in localStorage, which is cleared any time you choose.

What is Result Intelligence?

For example, the EMI calculator tells you whether your EMI-to-income ratio is healthy (below 40%) or financially risky (above 50%). The BMI calculator tells you your WHO category and exactly how much weight change would move you into the next range. These insights help you act on results, not just read them.

How do I use Scenario Compare?

Click the "Compare Scenario B" button that appears below any calculator. Adjust one or more inputs in Scenario B — for instance, a different loan tenure or a higher down payment. Both Scenario A and Scenario B results appear side by side, with a delta row showing which option is better and by exactly how much. This makes trade-off decisions fast and visual.

What does "Private by Default" mean technically?

It means your data never leaves your device. CalcDom uses no tracking cookies — only a single localStorage entry for your theme preference. No calculator inputs are included in any server request. We run no analytics on what you calculate, how much you earn, or what health data you enter. Your financial and health figures exist only in your browser's memory and are cleared automatically when you close the tab.

Which countries do you cover?

Tax calculators apply jurisdiction-specific rates: India uses Income Tax slabs and TDS rules, UAE applies VAT at 5%, US calculators use federal brackets and IRS contribution limits, and UK calculators follow HMRC rates. Health, utility, and lifestyle calculators are designed to work globally without currency or jurisdiction dependence.

How often are tax rates updated?

India calculators are updated after each Union Budget, which is typically presented in February. UAE calculators are updated when the Federal Tax Authority announces changes. US calculators are updated when the IRS publishes new contribution limits and tax brackets, typically in November for the following tax year. UK calculators are updated after each Autumn Statement. All updates are applied before the relevant tax year begins.

What's the difference between CalcDom and a bank's calculator?

A bank calculator shows you a number for their product. CalcDom shows you a number, explains what it means, lets you compare multiple scenarios, requires no registration, and covers dozens of products across all major banks and lenders. We are fully independent — no financial institution sponsors our results, and we have no incentive to bias any calculation toward a particular product.

How do I get the most accurate result?

Use the most current rate for your specific situation — check your bank's latest published rate rather than a headline figure. Enter actual values, not rounded estimates. For tax calculators, use your exact taxable income including all deductions already applied. For health calculators, use a recently measured height and weight rather than remembered values. Small differences in inputs can produce meaningfully different outputs.

Can I change the currency?

Currency is automatically matched to each calculator's geographic target. India calculators display INR (₹), UAE calculators use AED, US calculators use USD ($), and UK calculators use GBP (£).
